Are you the person we are looking for?
  • Diploma of vocational studies (DEP) in machining techniques or a college diploma (DEC) in mechanical engineering or any other equivalent study/experience combination 
  • Experience of at least two (2) years in a similar position and in a manufacturing environment as a conventional machinist
  • Knowledge of measuring instruments
  • Sense of responsibility and good management of priorities
  • Autonomy, resourcefulness and versatility
  • Sense of initiative, precision in the execution of work and ability to work in a team
  • Demonstrate great motivation and diligence in his work 
Your contribution to the team

Under the authority of the Production Manager, you will become a key player in the daily machining operations for the production of parts for the assembly of products designed for our customers.. 

As a member of our team, you will also participate in the implementation and achievement of REXFAB's vision, mission, orientations, values ​​and objectives.. 

What will your daily life look like?
  • Operate conventional machines (e.g. lathe and milling machine)
  • Read and interpret manufacturing drawings to understand the specifications of the part to be machined
  • Calculate the dimensions, speeds and tolerances of the elements to be machined
  • Supply the necessary equipment to the machine
  • Adjust and assemble or disassemble parts using hand tools
  • Rigorously inspect the parts in order to validate the quality of the machining
  • Respect the notions of health and safety and maintenance at the workstation
